Spec Ops: The Line Review 2022 – 10 Years Later.
So I finally played Spec Ops after almost a decade of it’s original release. The was praised for its fun gameplay & more so for its heart wrenching story. As, you might be able to tell from the title “Spec Ops: The Line is Still Amazing”, the game still holds up really well IMO even in 2022. While I personally don’t think that Spec Ops: The Line is a Masterpiece, I have really fallen in love with this game’s incredible story & setting.

But just like every game, Spec Ops: The Line does have its fair share of problems, especially with the gameplay side of things, that need to be talked about & they will be, alongside all the good things about this game, in this review.

Spec Ops: The Line is a 2012 third-person shooter video game developed by the German studio Yager Development and published by 2K Games. It is available for PC (steam), Linux, MacOS, Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3 (PS3).
The game is also playable on PlayStation 4 (PS4) & PlayStation 5 (PS5) via. PS Now & on Xbox One Original/X/S & Xbox Series X/S via. backwards compatibility.
